Pueo Ceremonial Drum
Pueo drum is made with 1/2 of a canteen gourd. The skin is goat skin onto which I have drawn the pueo. The Pueo is the Hawaiian owl, not the word owl in Hawaiian. It is very sacred and endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. This drum is 9 inches wide and 2 inches deep. It comes with a beautifully woodburned stick with Hawaiian designs on it. Sold but can make you one special order for $75. Email me at tamsenfox@gmail.com

Ipu Heke
Ipu heke are two gourds joined with a puka (hole) at the top. They are used in hula as a drum for keeping the beat of the chant. The "voice" of these Hawaiian grown gourds is very resonant and melodious. I have a small selection of these at any given time. They run from $350-$500 each.
Gourd Drum
This drum is pyro-engraved, dyed, and etched with Hawaiian designs. The head has the design of the wana, the sea urchin that is very close to Hawaiians hearts. The skin is goat and its voice is deep and resonant. Click on photos to enlarge.
